Analogue Life was founded in 2009 by Ian Orglas and Mitsue Iwakoshi in Nagoya, Japan. The company operates as a reseller, focusing on contemporary Japanese craftsmanship with a serene, airy, and elegant simplicity.
Each piece in the collection is sourced from individual Japanese artisans and small studios that employ traditional techniques. The store highlights the work of specific makers, such as handcrafted tableware and small serving tables by woodworker Yoshiyuki Kato. This approach connects customers directly with the craftspeople behind the products.
In addition to its curated items, Analogue Life offers an exclusive product line called "analogue+". This line consists of items produced in collaboration with select makers, offering unique designs available only through the store.
