Hati Home was founded in 2018 by Adam and Kallie Thomson. Now based in Costa Mesa, California, the brand's aesthetic is inspired by the founders' time living in Bali. The furniture combines traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with a relaxed, Californian sensibility for a warm and organic feel.
The company operates on a direct-to-consumer model, producing its furniture in small batches. Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Bali and Java using old-world techniques. The furniture arrives fully built and ready to use.
Hati Home focuses on using consciously sourced materials. This includes plantation teak to avoid impacting old-growth forests and biodegradable, vegetable-tanned leather. Other materials like solid wood, full-grain leather, rattan, and paper cord are also featured in their collections.
